April - Week 3

Every week is same 'o same 'o stuff..

Really not much topics to blog about..

Mainly is cos my nephew Cyan came over during the

weekdays as he's going to the same school as J and

I will always have to rush home Everyday to relief my mom

so that she can cook dinner and I keep a lookout in case the kids

fight.. or rather I prevent Cyna from hitting out at J.. -_-

Can't wait for the day when they can move to their new place

at Loyang and my nightmare will be over! Sheesh..

Thank goodness I've been taking a picture a day for my

project 365 so I can still pinch some pixs from there to talk about..

J has been pestering us to bring him to the airport..

But when we reached there, he still asked us to bring

him to the airport.. Dude, you are in the airport! =_=

I really adore this little nephew of mine & his mop of hair,

also maybe cos we share the same zodiac sign.. and I hope

he doesn't grow up as naughty as his brother.. humph..

J doing his writing.. I remembered last time we only learnt how

to write properly when we were in primary school!

Anyway, teaching him to write really is a huge test on my

patience.. This kid can give all sorts of excuse just to avoid writing!

My babe Carmen joined me for lunch at work the

other day. I'm always happy to see my gals..

Maybe Roy & I should get something similar

for our running.. Lol..

Happiness is ...

* when you reached home & you saw your kid at the

doorstep jumping up & down shouting Mummy!...

* seeing his face all lit up like Christmas when you asked if

he would like to go downstairs for a walk...

* seeing him grinning from ear to ear when you allowed

him to go to the playground...

* when he said thank you to me as I helped

him up the ladder...

* when he held my hand tightly & singing loudly

as we walked back home...

Exercise Freaks

Nothing close to that actually..

But I thought I'll try to attempt to exercise

at least twice a week..

It's actually not easy to do that as I always have

to rush home after work during the weekdays.

If I wanna go gym in the weekends, I'll

need someone to babysit J for me.. Zzz..

 Couldn't gym that sunday so we brought

J along to go walk/jog/run at Pasir Ris Park..

Weather was quite good that day, that's

why I don't mind the outdoors..

Shagged out.. Zzzz..

March - Week 4

Ok, last week's activities.. Haa..

 Getting boring huh.. Lol..

Yoyo & Piddles reunited!

Yeah, I met her for brekkie at our fav TB joint.

It was my mummy's birthday last thu so

we got her some cupcakes.

Actually it's more for J cos he loves

twelve cupcakes.. :P

Then we had a family dinner to celebrate for her.

Went shopping for some necessities at Ikea.

Training J to carry my bag for me,

must start from young.. hahaha!

Finally J decided to wear the

Spongebob Squarepants shades

that I got for him from Mothercare

like ages ago.. Zzz..

Dennis has been going to his same hairdresser Lynn

at Roxy since he was just 15 years old, and we

brought J along to let her cut too. Maybe next time he

will be her loyal customer too.. Lol..

It's Yong's birthday last sunday so we met her up

for a while at Swensens for ice-cream. Most importantly,

there's free sundae for the bd gal that day. Hahaha!

It's a short work week cos of Good Friday holiday.

Gotten cute Easter chocolate for the Hans.. Lol..

March - Week 3

In a feeble attempt to blog more, I'll try

to upload more pixs on what I've been up

to on a weekly basis..

I really have the best lunch partners, as I can

share food which I always cannot finish with them. Hee..

And I chanced upon a blackberry when I went ladies after

that.. Returned it to info counter, hope the owner finds it back..

And since it's the school hols that week, we took

leave on thursday to bring J to USS.

The skinniest batman I've ever seen..

Anyway, the trip to the themepark was quite a disaster cos ...

J doesn't like it!

I'm not sure whether is it the hot weather, or crowds or

the loud music from the speakers that spooked him.

The moment he stepping into the place, he said he wanted

to go home.. @_@ And he got overly stimulated that

he puked all over the place.. Zzzz..

But but we've already paid so much for the tickets! :(

My sis & bil were kind enough to help us babysit J

in the cafe while Roy & I rushed to sit on the 2 rides

that we didn't tried before.. Transformers & Mummy rides.

Oh well, no more themeparks for him, at least for now..

Save my $$ or rather, he wasted my $$..

Actually going karaoke should be limited to just a few

friends so that one can have more songs to sing.. Lol..

Roy went golf at JB on sunday and my folks were out

so it's just me & my J, getting on each other's nerves

the whole day. Lol.

Run Piddles Run..

Running you were asking.. 

Seriously.. Me??

Some of you who've known me long enough know 

that I absolutely dreaded running.. I don't have

the drive nor stamina at all.. Totally hate it.. Haa

Well, my mindset kinda changed over the months..

I find that I tires easily when I'm on my feet for

long period of time.. It worsened when I went

tokyo and we had to walk the whole day..

Mann, I was experiencing extreme fatigue

came end of the day & can't find any remaining energy

to do anything else at all but to lay down straight..

As still as a log.. =_=

And I can hardly put the blame on age cos there

are others who are way older than me who can walk faster..

So I can only put it on plain laziness.. -_-

Hey, I used to be quite sporty when I was in school kay!

And so.. getting a pair of good trekkies put in a bit

of motivation to spur me to exercise.. and also seeing

quite a number of people running at the track just

below my block.. See, I can be sporty again?!

Took a sweaty pix after a run in the morning, with zero makeup..

Even though I'm drenched to the brink, it's really quite

good to sweat it all out yah.. 

This just show how long I've not been exercising regularly..

And so, I decided to be a bit more "sporting", haa..

Gave a try at zumba with Lily..

After the one session, it was confirmed that I have two left foot..

Trying not to trip over my own feet while struggling

to catch up the routines.. Mann, it's tough..

Running seems safer.. Lol..

It was raining one afternoon so I resorted to climb stairs instead..

Up 16 floors 2 times not an easy feat!

Sloppy attire.. Hee..

Then I wanted to try out treadmill at the gym..

Haa, getting adventurous.. And it's fun & cooling.. Lol..

And.. you can only see the guys at the weight equipments,

next time I'll come without Roy.. Hahahah..

Must give special thanks to OB who encouraged

me to take up running.. Slowly but surely.. :)

Meet ups

I'm seriously neglecting my blog..

Don't know why I'm getting so unproductive..

Why?? Zzzz..

So anyway, just some updates on meeting

up with some of my closest friends.

Carmen, mummy of my god daughter Lauren..

We had a good time catching up on our

kids, life & stuff..

With two & a half of my best gals..

We celebrated Matty's birthday early

at this zi char place in siglap last friday.

The two botaks.

It's the International Women's Day on the 8th of March

so I gathered the gals for a shot.

Don't want to leave the guys out as well lah..

There were a total of 10 dishes for each

of us but I simply couldn't wait for all

of them to come. Too hungry!

We were kinda proud that there were

no leftovers. No food is wasted. :)

And still have room for dessert.

The ice-cream joint is god damn crowded!

CNY Part 2

I'm really getting kinda lazy..

Visited my 3rd uncle's place.

He's stayed just two blocks away from us.

His piano is out of tune but J still

got a kick out of her..

I think my mum resembles this uncle the most..

Another round of yusheng.. @_@

The yusheng was surprisingly good and we

managed to finish all of it to the last bit.

It's the 7th day of cny so it's everybody's birthday.

I bought a cookies & cream ice cream cake

for all of us to celebrate.

Nothing beats having dinner at home with wonderful company.

This is the wonderful company by the way..

Yet another yusheng, this time at Roy's

colleague's place..

Now that J is older, he can behave better and

minding his own business with my ipad.. Hee..

All the food over cny really got to me..

So high time to go for a run and J tagged along..

Mann, he can run faster than me!

Met up with my dearest Madelin & Wanyu 

and the latest girl in town, Cayla.. Lol..

Baby girls romper can be so cute not!

She's the sweetest little girl by sleeping

half of the time and allowing her mummy to

catch up with us and enjoying the food.

Food was good by the way..

 And of all places, we have to camwhore in the baby changing room.. :P

Have not seen my buddy Shimei since YX's

first birthday which was last year Oct!

Really glad max to make the trip to meet up with them.

Last day of cny, we went Yong's after that

fil's place. Think we dressed more the USA colours

rather than cny? Lol..

And that concluded the end of Chinese New Year 2013.
