Lunchtime Talk

We attended this lunchtime talk on healthy eating on tuesday at Catering with the Executive Sou Chef, Mark Laming. From the way he sounds, he seems like a Aussie. Anyway, he's friendly & jovial with no airs unlike some atas chefs..

The kitchen's unexceptionally cold! Could be around 16-17 degrees, maybe it's required to make sure the food in there stay fresh. All of us huddled closer for some warmth..

This is Gazpacho, a spanish soup made of tomatoes, capsicums, cucumber onion blended altogther. It's normally taken cold & during summer where the weather is hot.
Mark's helper helped to dish out into little cups cos there're too many of us.

This is prawn and vegetable wrapped in rice paper rolls. So healthy but not after you dip into the salty fish sauce. Haaa..

This is my favourite. Grilled cod fish with capsicum & butter bean mash. I love cod fish! I had 2 servings of it! So greedy..

Here's us all wrapped up and looking just like the catering staff. Unglam!

Carmen + Andrew = Lauren

It was the easter long weekend, so I thought of popping by to see Lauren cos I haven't seen her since CNY. Also to take some family portraits for them as I notice they don't have much pictures of the 3 of them as also, to practise my photography.

Friday, 22th Apr

Just woke up from afternoon nap and double eyelids coming out, really look like girl hor!

When we're there, J tried to give Lauren a hug but she turned her head away.
So bobien he just helped himself to the toys and drowned his sorrows while Lauren's looking smug behind. Ahahahhaaahhaa!

Babies always look the cutest when they're still chubby and toothless.. Lol..

Grey-eyed Lauren, just adorable & pretty..

Lauren striking a pose for me, just so cute..
This is one of my favourite shots.

Carmen initially was thinking of a getaway with the family after seeing my batam pictures.. So I asked, does Lauren has a passport?
Carmen exclaimed, never thought or remember to make for Lauren as she's so tiny!!
So we tried to take some photos suitable for making passport but I think cannot pass. Nevertheless, they're adorable! Godma wanna kidnap you!

Wearing her cute little shoes getting ready to go out for a walk, and outdoor shoot.

She's looking more like Carmen liao, donch ya think?

Andrew is just so funny, always crack me up!

Playing hide & seek with Lauren.

I ultra love this shot, melts my heart. Awwww!

Just took some shots of the photo frames of Carmen & Andrew while we went back to let the kids change into their swimwear. Hopefully they can put up new photos of the Melia family the next time round.

Oooolala, Lauren is checking J's bod. Skinny fella lah he..

Squirming her eyes cos of the poolwater..

I dunno, everything about Lauren sparks cuteness.. Even when she pursed up her lips, ready to cry.. I will think that looks cute too.. Siao Godma..

Another shot of the Melia family.

Love her cute little button nose!

Lauren doesn't really like the float, she prefers mummy to carry her in the waters instead.
So this was my only decent shot of her in it. The other one she started screaming liao, haha!

Mum & Daughter moment.

Checking J out again, wondering what spot she's looking at exactly? Hee...

J&L playing in the water.

J wants to wear Roy's slippers instead.

Father & Son moment.

Transferring some of the pictures over to their lappie.
And J's so funny, keep leaning in onto Andrew thinking he's the sofa or something..
At least I'm happy to know that J's treating them like part of the family.

Girl shoes are just soooo girly & colourful! *starry-eyed**

Jared's 1st Field Trip

J's school decided to bring the kids out last thursday, to Jacob Ballas Children's Garden next to Botanical Gardens. Mum had something on that day so I took leave to accompany him.
Of course I can't cope by myself so I got my helper to go with me too, wise choice indeed.

Early in the morning all washed up and armed, with his stinky bear and ezlink card in hand.

I also had a bit of Elmo on me. Hairband from Universal Studios Osaka. God, I miss Japan.

At the garden. J likes to do a lot of actions..

This tree's made of little human figures. Quite creative huh..

There're tons of little kids that day, damn crowded! Not forgetting damn hot too! =_=III

Had to ask helper to watch out for him while I take some pictures.

Really a lot of greenery in the garden, providing quite a lot of shade.
But I didn't take a lot of pics of the flowers and plants cos busy lah..

Cute Caucasian babies, still sitting quietly in their strollers (but in the open!) while their moms were chatting behind..

Weather was so hot and J's sweating buckets. So must make sure he drink plenty of water.

A coconut-like fruit hanging on the branch. Dunno what to take.. So hot, I want to go home..

Taking refuge under a straw hut.
"And I'll puff & I'll puff & I'll blow the hut down!" Haha..
*so lame**

Then the rest of the kids saw and they run over to join J too.. So cute..

There's a mini maze for the kids to run around in. Everything is mini-size..

Actually there're playground, sandpit and even waterplay for the kids but I'm just too punctured and hot to let J join in the fun, besides he just recovered from his nasty cough too.. Can't risk him getting sick again as he'll get soooo cranky and that will make our life miserable.. Baaa~

Can tell J's my kid hor? Lol..

I let him drank chilled 100plus, ended up he's coughing so bad at night..
Made a mistake, I should be getting him H2O instead.. =_=

Can't resist taking a pic of this girl with her long hair..

He really must bring his stinky bear everywhere he goes mann..

Waiting for transport back home.. That's my favourite part, haha!

J really likes taking bus, will jump up & down in glee.

And I'm surprised he can actually sit down on his own and enjoying the ride home. Think next time can plan for a trip to m'sia on a coach ride..

I was dog tired by the time I reached home.. Makes me marvel & admire those mums who have to handle more than 2 kids.. I can never spare as much patience for that..
