Jared's 4th Birthday!

Time just whizzed by so fast.. Sometimes I forgot that J is actually 4 years old! And he certainly doesn't behave like one.. Still so baby in so many ways..

He's having runny nose and slight cough that day so we excused him from sunday class and let him rest at home..

He's into Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I thought of getting Mickey figurines as toppers for the cake as they normally have copyrights. Got a blueberry cream cake for the adults.. J doesn't like cakes except cupcakes.. =_=

Finally pull out the pressies from Yoyo who lugged all the way from Manchester for J. I have to hide it really well.. Look at J eyeing at them.. :)

Initially I've asked Yoyo to lookout for a peppa pig playhouse for J as I wanted him to do more roleplay, to encourage him to speak out more.. Ended up she scouted high & low and got more than I've requested for. I couldn't be more grateful to them, thanks for doting on J.. :)

He's super into the candle blowing thing right now, so as long as you have a lit candle in hand, he will proceed to sing the birthday song followby blowing the candle..

He tasted a scoop of the cake and he scooted off to play his new toys.. We enjoyed the cake more than him and cleared up everything after that. That's our quiet birthday celebration for J.

Later that night, he occupied himself while waiting patiently for Grams to wash up to get ready for bed..

Sometimes I still find it hard to believe that Jared's actually four now.. And I can still remembered every bit of details even when he's still a tiny baby.. Jared, you will always be Mommy's baby, no matter what..

Lauren turns Two!

I volunteered again to be the photographer for Lauren's party last saturday, to hone my skills and I must say there's some slight improvement compared to last year.. Thank goodness.. 

If you were wondering where's Jared? I grounded him at home cos he for no reason threw up a huge tantrum just before we're getting ready to leave the house. I was fuming mad, and decided no outing for him! What a mean mama I am but this boy must be taught a lesson! If I were to bring him along, then come back to punish him, might not be effective anymore or he might forget what he has done. If wanna do it, means must do it now.. Wish I can say for other things.. ('',)

We went to visit Shakinah who has given birth 3 weeks ago.. First new baby girl that I carried this year..

Happy Birthday to OB!

We booked tickets to watch some of the popular local actors performing at the esplanade last friday. Actually more of a gathering, the show is secondary.. Also, it's OB's birthday the next day, so everybody actually turned up! Give him face.. Hee.. 

I managed to give him 2 surprises that day, when Foo and Yoyo were back in town.. Nobody knows so I have to really keep it a secret #hard. As long as he's happy.. :)

So happy to see everybody, really.. All my dear friends and cols.. Lindy giving a cheeky face.. She had to hide the cake in her bag, carrying it precariously..

Roy came along cos he also wanted to watch this play, also for transport purposes.. Lol..

I don't really recognise all the actors, we're there mainly for Kumar (the one dressed in the white short dress next to fat Serena..

Yoyo chopped off her mane of hair cos it's so hot back here in sin. And she's sported with a slightly fuller figure as you can see.. Hahaahh!

As we tasked Lindy to get the cake in the nick of time, she managed to find a boob cake.. Missing out the other one though... Never mind, as long as he gets to make a wish and blow out the candle.. SHock getting excited about the cake.. Hee...

OB giving words of encouragement to Yoyo.. This is our only chance of meeting her cos she & Uncle T are off to Tokyo in 2 days time after being back from Manchester.

Mahjong Nite

One of the makan gang's favourite past time is definitely mahjong. Always have been and I think always will be. Some people think it's a selfish game cos it only involves 4 players.. so what do we do? Have more players loh.. Lol..



SHock just came back from golfing in bangkok and he has a sudden inspiration to cook beef noodle so we're in luck!

Of course it's not enough so we had rojak and luncheon meat. It's the rice dumpling festival the next day so he bought some mini dumplings too..

OB brought along his black and white mj set, all of us were looking at them in awe..

Not wasting anymore time catching up and chit-chatting and dived straight into the game.. Mann, my stamina at staying focus at the game is weaning.. I need my beauty sleep!~~
