Dennis had gotten discounted tickets to go

Gardens by the bay so we fixed to go on a sunday.

I hope J's eyes will turn bigger as he grows older.. Lol..

There are two domes which we visited.

As Dennis's preoccupied with J, the rest

of us walked behind and gossip..

Went to the 2nd dome, Cloud Forest.

It's a Cool-Moist Conservatory so it's kinda

cold & wet inside.

I prefer here, something different and it's cool!

I like that place..

And as usual, J must sit with Dennis..

They're inseparable that day.. hee..

Early Early Reunion Dinner

Ya, we had our family reunion dinner yesterday at my place..

It was very early I know.. Cos my brother & his family

will be going to his inlaws place this thur for a month until

after chinese new year.. -_-

Ridiculous I know but it happened.. My folks are

upset but nothing we could do.. They already bought

the tickets.. Oh well, we just have to think how

to make my mum happy.. Maybe go for another round

of dinner nearer to cny, seafood paradise sounds good..

Baby Reyd put on a lot of weight and now weighs 7.5kg

and he's not even 3 months yet!

His mother & helper just stuff the bottle to him

everytime he makes noise.. That's not the way to go, women!

But then again, it's not my kid so I can't interfere.

Anyway, the doc said he's overweight..

I simply loveeeee taking photos of his standing hair, simply cuteee!

According to my mum, my brother had the same type of

hairstyle when he was a baby too.. Lol..

The two rascals came in to disturb my shoot while Baby R keep

himself occupied with his right fist.

I reckon next time when he's older & running about, he and

the other two boys will tear the whole place down..

Nothing beats mum's home cooked food, according to me.. :)

Welcoming latest addition, Baby R to the family.

I have no worries when J is near to Baby R 

cos I know he's gentle around babies.

BR looks huge next to him!

I think Cyan has passed the "beating J up" phase..

But now, he keeps grabbing J from behind and hugging 

him and refusing to let go..!

It can look quite disturbing when his legs and arms

are around J as you can clearly see..

Ok, more on Baby R..

J slightly bumped onto BR's forehead so I asked him 

where is painful..

He put a X on the spot.

Look at BR's expression, hahahaa!

I can never get BR's brother to do that on him..

My old neighbourhood

Chinese New Year is just a month away @______@

That means it's time to get busy with the cny goodies..

Mum's specialty is pineapple tarts and lapis cake and

she needs to prep the pineapple filling first..

We brought her to Bedok South one saturday to stock

up the pineapples. I've lived there most of my life from

baby till adulthood. Missed that place..

Asked J to pose for me and he can say peace in the other direction.. -_-

With my snoopy bag tucked under his arm.. heh..

At bedok south wet market area.

Even though there had been many changes & upgrading at that area,

it still feel very much at home to me..

Still remembered when we were kids, will always tag along with 

mum to the wet market for her weekly marketing.

And I will always get so bored and will just stand at one corner while

mum will chat & gossip with the hawkers and bargained for 

discounts. I'm there to help her carry the stuff..

I specially hated the wet smelly floor & will hop around

trying to avoid stepping on them. >_<

Grateful that Roy came along this time to help her

out carrying the 30+ pineapples.. (can die!)

It's been close to 10 years since we moved out of Bedok but

most of the tenants still remember my mum!

She especially loves to go check out the apparel in the market.

Quite aunty but some of the clothes are actually quite nice..

I won't wear though.. Lol..

Cousins United

1st January, Tuesday

I've always been very close to some of my younger cousins,

since my mum took care of them since they were babies.

Babies?! You might be asking..

Yup, I'm way older than them as their dads, my uncles 

were also a lot younger than my mum. I also helped

my mum out to take care of them last time and they're

all grown up now. Man, for me to say that, I really

feel old indeed.. >.<

But ever since my grams passed away 4 years ago, we hardly had the

chance to meet up, specially during cny and I missed them so much.. :(

But everybody's been so busy with their own lives and commitments,

it's just hard to find the right time to gather everybody..

So the only time when all of us were able to see everybody

was actually during my grams funeral. Sigh..

Sad things aside..

So I was whatapping one of them, Shirleen who's always buy

stuff for J during her travelling (she's a cabin crew) about

meeting up soon and she quickly got the rest in the chatgroup.

And I really love that it's so random and spontaneous and

most of them can make it to my place on new year's day.. :)

Well, actually not all of them.. I still have a lot more cousins

but it'll be crazy to gather all of them.. My mum has 9 siblings.. :P

And I'm not close to all of them anyway..

They packed some food/tidbits over and everybody's

happy to see everybody! And they were all groaning & smacking

their heads when I made J called them uncles & aunts, hahaha!

Hey, must teach him to respect the elders kay?! Lol..

We had such a good time catching up on each other's

lives and laughing hysterically all the time.

I would do it again in a heartbeat. :)

And it seemed like yesterday when I was still a kid myself

and they were just babies or tots and I was carrying them and

caring for them. So when I looked at them now, really made me

reminisce those moments. And I kept telling Jingyi that! Heh..

youngest cousins, in sec 3 now.

which is his passion and something he enjoys doing.
